TOT SLING COMPLICATIONS: GROIN PAIN / DIFFICULTY WALKING

Patients may experience groin pain after TOT sling placement. This pain is usually due to increased tension on the mesh due to excessive scaring or a sling that was placed too tightly by the surgeon. Some patients experience pain in the groin with or without movement. Even more rarely some patients will even have more devastating pain, which affects the woman’s ability to walk normally or even stand erect. PLEASE SEE VIDEO BELOW.
